Safeguarding Policy

1. Purpose

Abundant Life Hope is committed to creating a safe environment for everyone who engages with our organisation — community members, children, youth, persons with disabilities, volunteers, partners and staff. This policy outlines our approach to preventing harm and responding appropriately when concerns arise.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all activities carried out by or on behalf of Abundant Life Hope in Mwiki and surrounding areas, and to all individuals representing or working with the organisation.

5. Reporting Concerns

Anyone who has a concern about the safety or wellbeing of a person involved in our activities is encouraged to report it. Reports can be made through the organisation’s contact channels. All concerns will be treated with seriousness and care.

This Safeguarding Policy works alongside our Child Protection Policy, Non-discrimination Statement, and Complaints and Feedback Policy.

7. Review

This policy will be reviewed periodically and updated as needed to reflect good practice and the evolving needs of the community we serve.
